I can’t wait to meet you!

It all begins with a challenge. How beautiful can i showcase the world? The world’s Beauty is everywhere, but let’s begin with you.

When I’m not capturing some of your sweetest moments, accomplishments, or memories, you can find me just being myself. A couple things I love just as much as photography happen to be Baton Rouge, Interior Design, and Historical Architecture — so if you know that, it may not come as a surprise that I’m also a REALTOR ®️! Both Real Estate and Photography have been a dream of mine since high school, and if there’s one thing about me, it’s that I’m persistent. Like, very. Every year, we grow, get better, and achieve more than we did before.

I couldn’t do this without you!

When I'm not on the dream job, I'm here living my dream life. Being accompanied by my two best friends every day makes every hardship so worth it. Let's be honest, trying to navigate today's world in your 20's is not for the faint of heart. Austin and Aphrodite Blake ('Dite on the daily) both were welcomed into this hot mess express about two years ago and I couldn't be more thankful. I rescued 'Dite from Companion Animal Alliance (@caapets — they accept volunteers!) on September 4, 2021. I could not have taken home a better friend that day. As for Austin, I found him at the shelter later that month. Joking, obviously. Kind of. We were actually friends for a while, but didn't make it official until late September. Let's just say I found a man who appreciates a good Trader Joe's bouquet and thinks I'm funny.

When did I begin photography?

Leaves and flowers. You read that right. About five years ago, I would take photos of everything from leaves, to flowers, and even puddles. I began to love the way the world looked. This is when I began challenging myself with angles and editing, all from the comfort of my phone. Soon enough, I was editing my photos with a small app and posting them to my instagram. Being fifteen at the time, I didn’t necessarily have the resources I needed. My parents noticed my photos and later gifted me with my very first Canon DSLR camera. That same day, I took my first portraits of my sister in our back yard. My sister is still my most frequent subject today! Can you spot her in my gallery?

What inspires me?

Since before I can remember, everyone knew me as being creative. From painting, writing, to photography, I just love making art. I tend to romanticize art more than I ought to, but that’s what makes this so special. Seeing beyond what everyone else sees is super important when telling your story through portraits. On another note, having professional photos boosts confidence! I see you looking good, girl! Have you seen the way your skin glows mid-afternoon? Don’t worry, let me show you! The way he’s looking at you in your engagement photos? I’ve got it captured! I actually strive to keep you feeling your best! Have you ever had your photo taken and someone edit one of your favorite features? Let me save you the feeling because it’s not a great one. Flaws? We don’t know her. I’m here to capture what makes you, well, you!

What does a session look like?

I love you guys, and love making sure you’re happy. Upon booking, I’ll be sure to ask about your favorite locations, what vibe we’re looking to capture, and what you expect from me. During your session, I’ll be learning all about you! Where you’re from, what you love, your family, you name it! After all, you’re one of my new friends now! Remember how I said I’m always learning? Posing is unarguably the funniest yet most difficult part of being a photographer. Transparency is super important to me, so I’ll be sure to let you know when I’m trying something new so we can both laugh about it later. Photos are sent to you in a digital gallery, making it super easy to share with family and friends! After your session, you’re still part of the team so keep an eye out for session anniversary posts and birthday goodies!

the end goal…

Is there ever really an end? I’ve always loved learning and I don’t think I’ll ever stop growing as a photographer, but I’m a DREAMER. Let me tell you all about it! To have a studio of my own in Baton Rouge is more than I could ever ask for. With a styling team by my side, I hope to be well known within the Baton Rouge area for senior, wedding, and engagement photography. I’ve recently fallen in love with the things that are a little less loved by others. That being said, my dream studio would be a brick studio with gorgeous windows… preferably built in the 1800’s. Let’s just say, I have my eyes on a studio...

thank you for supporting me + this dream of mine <3
